Part-Time AM/PM Bachelors Degree CA RN license Job Summary: The Nurse Clinician, Pediatric GI, practices in an expanded nursing role across the continuum of care for the age-specific (neonate, infant, toddler, preschooler, school age, adolescent) pediatric GI specialty component of patient care; follows policies, protocols, techniques, and guidelines; participates in developing standards of care; utilizes interpersonal skills to maximize customer service in a manner that supports the I CARE initiative, excellence in customer service, safe patient care, and professionalism; contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population; performs other duties according to demands upon the APN department from internal or external environment. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing required or in progress. Two years experience as a RN in an acute care facility required. California Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Certifications as designated in Plan for Providing Care. Able to: read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment. Able to lift at least 50 pounds to waist.
